Thomas Filiaggi

Thomas graduated from Virginia Tech with an IT degree in 2006. He and his father bought an old, dilapidated church on Cabell Street the same year in hopes of restoring it into an event venue. That plan didn’t pan out due to zoning regulations, but it’s where the love affair of building things with his hands started. The church was the first workshop and when Thomas and Larry outgrew the space, they rented a 3000 square foot space from Oliver Kuttner on Kemper Street. Two years later, a 10,000 square foot building was purchased, which is where the current workshop is located and where Thomas and his wife Anna lived for six years. He enjoys eating, drinking beer, and cooking in his spare time.
